Ride our beautiful horses through lush, exotic valleys, ironwood forests, and pineapple fields, while enjoying spectacular panoramic views of the outer islands! Nestled in the midst of unspoiled mountain, rain forest and farmland, Ironwood Ranch sits on acres of private land inaccessible to most, but ready and waiting for YOU to explore!

Convenient West Maui location

Just a short drive from Lahaina, Kaanapali, Kapalua, or Napili, Ironwood Ranch is located high on the West Maui Mountains, above West Maui's resort areas. We can offer transporation from the Kaanapali to Kapalua area for an additional fee. It is not included in the cost of the rides. Guests traveling from other areas will be picked up in Napili below Ironwood Ranch.

Small, personalized horseback rides

Ironwood Ranch specializes in small, personalized groups (6 per trail guide or as arranged). Private rides are also available upon request. You will see some of Maui's finest scenery while atop a fine horse, carefully selected to match your riding style, while enjoying the camaraderie of the shared adventure with your fellow guests and your experienced trail guide.

Ironwood Ranch offers absolutely the best riding horses on Maui. We love and take great care of our horses, and the results are fine riding mounts that are happy to take you there and back! You will be matched with a well-groomed horse, appropriate to your experience, for the ride of your life!

Ironwood Ranch loves families! We have just the right horse for everyone, from small gentle horses for the kids, to spirited cow ponies for the more experienced riders - we even have draft horses!

Kids need to be 7 yrs old and all riders must weight no more than 220 lbs

For advanced rides, no one under 18 yrs and 190 lbs max
